Finding Study Spaces on Campus Using SpaceFinder

Study spaces at the University of Leeds—often called clusters or IT clusters—provide computers, seating, and facilities to support on‑campus study.

SpaceFinder allows students to easily locate available study spaces, view facilities, check availability and identify nearby clusters.

What is SpaceFinder?

SpaceFinder is a University tool that helps students find study spaces across campus. It enables you to:

  • View which spaces are currently open
  • See study spaces near your current location
  • Filter spaces by features such as:
    • Noise level
    • Type of space
    • Equipment available
    • Computer availability
  • View maps and lists of all clusters and study rooms

SpaceFinder ensures you can quickly find a suitable study environment anywhere on campus.

How can I access SpaceFinder?

You can access SpaceFinder here: https://spacefinder.leeds.ac.uk/ (Works on desktop and mobile)

What if the study space requires an entry code?

Some IT clusters and study rooms require a door entry code for security.

To view the code:

  1. Log in with your University of Leeds account
  2. Visit the Cluster Page

Once logged in, authorised students can view any required access codes for restricted clusters.
