How to setup an Otter.ai account and use it for transcriptions


Otter is voice-to-text transcription software that uses artificial intelligence (AI).  You can set up the Otter Bot to join online meetings and automatically transcribe everything that's said

Introduction

You will need to setup an individual free account, which you can upgrade to their “Pro” subscription if that suits your needs.

To comply with Security and Data Processing regulations at the University, you must not sync your University of Leeds account/calendar to Otter.ai. This means that otter.ai will not automatically join your MS Teams meetings, but you can invite the Otter.ai transcription bot to your meeting (instructions below)
