The White Rose University Consortium is a strategic partnership between the Universities of Leeds, Sheffield and York. It was established in 1997 to add value to the partner universities through collaboration in research, teaching and knowledge exchange.

The Library Services of the the Universities of Leeds, Sheffield and York have collaborated as White Rose Libraries since 2004. This has allowed them to pool resources and expertise to deliver a range of initiatives, and also react to the changing HE landscape in a coordinated way.
White Rose Libraries run a number of Open Access systems and services providing full-text content:
