Dragon Naturally Speaking is the "go-to" product for voice recognition and audio transcription functions. This software may be recommended to you as part of a health & safety or occupational health issue. The university does not hold a site licence, so it must be purchased on-demand for individuals. As such, it cannot be offered via the AppsAnywhere platform.

Once purchased, the nominated user will receive an email from the software company (Nuance) with links to the installer and their personal licence file, which should be held in safe-keeping for future reference.

As this is a personally-licensed product, it can be installed on multiple machines, be they personal or university-owned. The IT Service will help install on work devices.

At the time of writing, the cost of the software is £356.22 ex. VAT (427.46 inc. VAT).
