What is it?

Microsoft Whiteboard is a freeform canvas to bring people, content, and ideas together. It is one of the office productivity applications included in the Microsoft Office suite.

It is available for Microsoft Windows, Apple macOS, Android, Apple IOS and on Linux using WINE.

What do I use it for?

Microsoft Whiteboard allows you to collaborate on a digital canvas as a team to accomplish many activities, wherever you are.

Team members can work collaboratively using their own devices and it is compatible with touch screen devices for drawing in freehand, either with a stylus or fingertip.

Use Whiteboard to conduct effective meetings, brainstorm, plan and solve problems.

Who is it available to?

Microsoft Whiteboard is available to all University staff and students.

How do I access it?

You can access Microsoft Whiteboard by logging into the Office 365 portal, clicking on all apps and selecting Whiteboard from there.

Training

Microsoft Whiteboard training is available via LinkedIn Learning and is free for all staff and students.
