Microsoft OneNote is a note taking tool by Microsoft. It is one of the office productivity applications included in the Microsoft Office suite.
It is available for Microsoft Windows, Apple macOS, Android, Apple IOS and on Linux using WINE.
Microsoft OneNote allows you to store and share notes across all your devices. It includes features including spell check, grammar check, text and font formatting, HTML support and image support.
OneNote enables you to organise your notes and collaborate with others via shared notebooks. It is compatible with touch screen devices for writing and drawing in freehand, either with a stylus or your fingertip.
Microsoft OneNote is available to all University staff and students.
You can access Microsoft OneNote on your University device by searching for ‘OneNote’ in the start bar on your device. You can also use OneNote online by logging into the Office 365 portal, clicking on all apps and selecting OneNote from there.
Microsoft OneNote training is available via LinkedIn Learning and is free for all staff and students.
