Cluster Remote Access


Access to some of the University's specialist computing clusters has been made available remotely. This page provides links to dashboards, providing details of the cluster remote access available.

What are Clusters?

Cluster Remote Access enables students or staff to remotely connect to desktop PCs / computers in specialist clusters via dashboards. A cluster is a connection of two or more computers used in parallel. Clusters offer many benefits including combining the memory and processing power of each computer to increase overall performance.

Links to the cluster dashboards below will take you to a University managed SharePoint site https://leeds365.sharepoint.com/. To view the cluster dashboard pages you may need to login with your University account.

Important: while you may have access to the dashboard, you may not have access to the computers shown. Access is restricted to those students who will need to use the computers as part of their course and have been advised to use these clusters by their tutors.

Some clusters are being used for timetabled teaching. If you are remotely using a computer in a cluster that has scheduled teaching, at the time of the teaching activity you may be required by a tutor to disconnect to allow others to use the computers.
