Run a Mediasite Analytics Report

Mediasite can generate an analytics report for content so you can see information such as how many users have watched it. Follow the steps in this guide to generate a report.

Please Note: You must be the owner of the content in order to generate this report.

Log into Mediasite.

Click on the title of the video you want to generate an analytics report for.

Click View Analytics.

This will generate a summary of key analytics.

Please Note: It may take up to 2 minutes to load depending on the size of the video.

Information will then be presented showing how many times the video was viewed (including dates and average time watched).

You can also see who is watching in real time by clicking the Who's Watching tab.

If you scroll down, you can also see the specific users who watched your video (if they have a University of Leeds account); for example, this could be useful to monitor student engagement with your content.

If the video is public, the number of anonymous views will also be shown.

You can generate a more detailed report by clicking Download Report.
