If you are unable to delete a file or directory due to having too long a file path name, you can get round this by mapping a Network Drive part of the way down the path. For example, you would like to delete all the files and folders underneath N:\Administration\Access\Educational Engagement\Education Outreach\Research Skills\EPQ\2017-18, map the letter Z: to Z:\Administration\Access\Educational Engagement\Education Outreach. The network drive should now be mapped. From here you can navigate to the files and folders further down the tree and delete them as required.
