What is it?

PuTTY is an SSH and telnet client, developed originally by Simon Tatham for the Windows platform. PuTTY is open source software that is available with source code and is developed and supported by a group of volunteers.

Where is it available?

PuTTY is available via AppsAnywhere.

The software can be accessed from the following locations:

PuTTY is available on Windows, and Linux, but is not available on Mac.

University staff and students can obtain the software for free from PuTTY.
