What is Microsoft Power Automate (was Flow)?

What is it?

An application that automates repetitive tasks. It does not replace SharePoint workflows, but streamlines with SharePoint and provides alternatives to those workflows.

What do I use it for?

You can use Microsoft Power Automate to automate workflows between your favourite applications and services, sync files, get notifications, collect data, and much more.

Who is it available to?

Microsoft Power Automate is available for personal use to all University staff and students and can be used to create personal work flows to help make your day to day work more effective and efficient. Any flows you create will be owned and managed by you and your University account. IT are unable to transfer flows between University accounts. 

If you are considering using Power Automate to support a business critical process, please contact your Business Relationship Manager to discuss this in advance to ensure Power Automate is the right solution for the business needs.

You can access Microsoft Power Automate via the Office 365 portal at https://office365.leeds.ac.uk
