What is it?

EndNote helps you to store and manage your references. It also works with Microsoft Word to automatically insert citations and create your reference list (or bibliography) for you.

EndNote is available for Windows and Mac.

Where is it available?

EndNote is available via AppsAnywhere.

The software can be accessed from the following locations:

  • Computer Clusters
  • Remote Access Clusters
  • Windows Virtual Desktop
  • Personal Windows Devices
  • Personal macOS Devices (Download only)

Mac users with personal devices can access a local download of EndNote via AppsAnywhere. After clicking the EndNote download button you will need to accept a user agreement. You will then be redirected to a folder which contains the EndNote for Mac installation file and instructions. The instructions also contain the EndNote product key.

If you use a University-owned Mac, you can request the software via an "Install Software" request- see related request.
