What is Corel Software?

The Corel suite of software includes several different applications, used for vector-based drawing, photo and video editing, digital painting, and Computer Aided Design.

What products are available?

The University holds an academic site licence for Corel software. The following software is available to all staff and students at the University of Leeds, for research, teaching and administrative purposes:

CorelDRAW Technical SuiteA vector-based graphics application, which includes CorelDRAW, Corel DESIGNER, Corel PHOTO-PAINT and Corel Font Manager
Corel VideoStudioVideo editing software
Corel PaintShop ProA raster-based photo and image editing application
CorelCADComputer Aided Design software used to create 2D and 3D objects
Corel PainterA digital painting program
Corel PDF FusionPDF viewing and editing software

Where is it available?

Corel software is available via AppsAnywhere on Windows computers.

The software can be accessed from the following locations:

Mac users with personal devices can access a local download of CorelCAD and CorelDRAW Graphics suite via AppsAnywhere. After clicking the download button, you will need to accept a user agreement. You will then be redirected to a folder which contains the installation files and instructions.

If you use a university-owned Mac computer, you can request the software via an "Install Software" request - see the related request.

The full suite of Corel software is available for Windows devices.

CorelCAD and CorelDRAW Graphics Suite (a cut-down, macOS-compatible version of Technical Suite) are both available for macOS. These are the only Corel products available on Mac devices.
