Microsoft Office courses for staff


Our Microsoft Office courses are free to all University staff and currently take place online on Microsoft Teams. You can book these courses online at http://www.leeds.ac.uk/staffdevelopment. If you are interested in attending a specific course which does not have any dates available, please follow the booking information and sign up to "Express Your Interest".

Due to coronavirus (Covid-19) restrictions we do not yet know when classroom courses will resume.

If you are unsure which course to take, or you wish to undertake training for Jadu CMS, please contact ittraining@leeds.ac.uk for further advice. Jadu XForms is currently under review so training is no longer available.

When you've booked you'll:

Cancellations and Account Numbers

Although our courses are free, you'll be charged if you don't attend a course without providing two working days notice. You'll need to give a departmental account number on your booking form, but it will only be used if you don't attend. (Please contact your department for more information about account numbers).

More Information

Please check your confirmation email carefully for date, time and location. Most of our courses are on Level 6 of the E C Stoner building and directions to the Training Unit can be found in your email.

Other Courses

Training on corporate systems such as SAP and Banner is available for University of Leeds staff. Research staff and postgraduate students also have access to courses that are tailored for research topics.

Microsoft Bookings Overview (Live Event)

IT Training are offering a series of live events that will provide you with an overview of the Microsoft Personal Bookings Calendar and the Microsoft Bookings App.

The live events are being offered in March and April and will be delivered via Microsoft Teams with the main focus being a presentation to demonstrate the features of these tools and an opportunity to ask questions via the Q&A pane. Sessions will run for one hour.
