The University uses the Eduroam (Education Roaming) Wi-Fi network. It’s fast, secure and you can use it to get online at many other universities around the world.
Follow these instructions to connect your Chrome Book (or other device running Chrome OS) to the eduroam wireless network.
Step 1: In the lower right corner, click the Wi-Fi icon and select eduroam from the list of available networks.
Step 2: In the following window, choose PEAP as the EAP method and MSCHAPv2 as the Phase 2 authentication. In the identity, enter your username in the format: username@leeds.ac.uk and your usual University password.
Step 3: Your device should say that it is connected to eduroam, and should connect automatically from now on.
