The University uses the Eduroam (Education Roaming) Wi-Fi network. It’s fast, secure and you can use it to get online at many other universities around the world.
This article explains how to connect your Windows device to the Eduroam Wi-Fi network. This article only covers windows 10 and windows 11.
Step 1: Select the connection icon at the Windows taskbar:
Step 2: Then click on the arrow next to the Wi-Fi icon to show all available connections:
Step 3: It will display a list of available Wi-Fi networks in your area. Select eduroam.
Step 4: Enter your username and password in the following format: username@leeds.ac.uk
Step 5: Click OK to connect.
Step 6: Your device will then configure the settings and will show that you are connected. It should then connect automatically in the future.
Step 1: Select the connection icon in the Windows taskbar
Step 2: Select eduroam from the list of wireless networks and click on Connect
Step 3: Enter your username and password in the following format: username@leeds.ac.uk
Step 4: You will see another window asking if you wish to continue connecting, then click Connect
Step 5: Your device will then configure the settings and will show that you are connected. It should then connect automatically in the future.
