MyPrint on staff computers (Mac, Unix & Linux)

If your department is signed up to the MyPrint service you can use any of the 160 MyPrint devices across the campus. Find out how to install the MyPrint Service on Mac, Unix or Linux computers.

MyPrint client

The MyPrint client is an optional piece of software that allows you to see your un-collected print jobs.

You'll need to manually install the client using the relevant link on the right. As part of the installation process, when prompted for the server name you should use

MyPrint device drivers

You will need to install the latest available Konica Minolta Bizhub C652 Series drivers for your operating system. You can obtain the relevant drivers from the Konica Minolta Download Centre. Select Multifunctional Colour, choose Bizhub C652 from the Product list, then select the appropriate Operating System for your computer.

Mac Users

Your Mac must be joined to the University's Active Directory (AD) in order to be able to see the MyPrint printer queue. You don't need to log in to your Mac with your username and password to print but if you are not logged in you will not be able to use MyPrint to view and delete any print jobs in the queue.

If you need any help with this please speak to your Faculty IT staff or the IT Service Desk if your School or department has a support agreement with them.

To add the MyPrint printer :

  • Go to System Preferences, and in the Hardware section click Print & Fax
  • Click the + button
  • On the Default tab type MyPrint in the search box
  • From the list select Staff
  • If your department allows colour printing use Staff_COL

Mobile Print

The Mobile Print service is a quick and easy alternative to setting up the MyPrint queues and client software. You can send your documents to MyPrint by email or by uploading your documents.
