Scan to Folder

Occasionally when the University is subject to wide-spread SPAM attacks the email system refuses to accept "Scan to Email" documents from the MyPrint system. A work around is to use the Scan to Folder option - instead of sending the document through the email system the document is placed directly on your university M: drive.

Log into the MyPrint device as usual, and press the Menu button. On the touch-screen press the DocuPRO button.

Docupro

Then choose Scan to me.

Choose the Scan to folder option.

On the next screen choose Scan to folder.

Place your document on the glass.

If you want to change any settings tap "Scan Settings" - when finished changing options select Close.

Press the blue Start button below the touch screen.

If you have more pages to be scanned put them on the glass and press the blue Start button

When you have no more pages select Finish on screen

To transmit the file to your M: drive press the blue Start button once again

Press the Access button to log out

The scanned document will appear in your M: drive with a nonsense name like "00206B8E662B171205161509.pdf"
