An introduction to Microsoft qualifications

What is it?

MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) certification is an industry standard qualification. It shows you can use the Office products effectively. Preparing for the exams will improve your knowledge of all the features of Office. It will increase your skills and confidence and let you be more productive. There are three levels of Microsoft Office qualification and more information can be found on the Microsoft Office Specialist, Expert or Master page.

What training is available?

Free e-learning is available to all University of Leeds staff and students via the Microsoft IT Academy, and access to further resources will be granted to help with self study.

How much does it cost?

The MOS exams cost £50. This only covers the cost of the exams and does not include any training. Exams are only available for University of Leeds staff and students.
