This page guides you through setting up your computer to attend an online course.

These courses are run in an online classroom. You attend them from any computer that has an internet connection. They are different from traditional e-learning as they are delivered by a tutor. The sessions have been developed to be interactive and engaging; just as in a classroom course you join in rather than just watching a demo.

Setting up

The online classroom uses Adobe Connect Pro. You don't need to install any software, just join through any web browser. (Internet Explorer is the recommended browser.) You'll be sent a link to the online classroom in your booking confirmation email.

Before the online session starts you'll need to setup your audio. You won't be able to do this until the classroom has been opened. This video shows you how to run the audio setup.
